About the community
Three buildings, one association
Winnemac Manor Townhomes is located at 5115–5127 N. Damen Avenue in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood. The community is made up of twenty-one townhomes arranged in three buildings of seven homes each, addressed as the 5115, 5121, and 5127 buildings. Ravenswood is a family-friendly, tree-lined North Side neighborhood — a short walk from the Brown Line and the shops and cafés along Lawrence and Montrose.
Each townhome is a single-family residence owned in fee simple, meaning owners hold title to their home and the ground beneath it. The homes are attached, sharing party walls with their neighbors, while the private driveways, walkways, landscaped yards, and shared facilities that serve the community are owned and maintained by the Association on behalf of all owners.
The community is organized as a self-governed fee simple association: every unit owner is a member of the Winnemac Manor Townhomes Association, Inc., an Illinois not-for-profit corporation that maintains the shared grounds and common spaces on everyone’s behalf.

Winnemac Manor is a self-governed community, run by the people who live here. The Winnemac Manor Townhomes Association, Inc. — an Illinois not-for-profit corporation led by a volunteer Board of Directors elected from among the owners — maintains the shared landscaping, walkways, driveways, lighting, fencing, and intercom, and manages the day-to-day business of the community on behalf of all owners.
Because each home is owned in fee simple, neighbors hold title to their own homes and the ground beneath them — and the things everyone shares are cared for together.
